- Nelle Capitale dei Fuori si avvicina il termine del Festival dei Fuochi.
- Rufy VS Kaido.
- Kaido beve sake durante lo scontro.
- Il "Shuron Hakke" sembra una tecnica di Kaido da ubriaco.
- L'alcol fa cambiare l'umore di Kaido durante lo scontro con Rufy: prima è triste, poi piange e infine è arrabbiato.

- I 5 Astri proseguono discutendo di un certo Frutto del Diavolo e del fatto che sia stato cambiato il nome di quest'ultimo per nascondere la sua vera natura.
- Secondo il leaker coreano, non stanno parlando del Frutto Gom Gom.
- Il capitolo si conclude con la rivelazione dell'identità dell'ombra dietro la flotta di navi vicino al Paese di Wa. L'ombra è Zunisha. Zunisha è appena dietro la flotta di navi del Governo Mondiale che era stata mostrata nel mare presso il Paese di Wa alcuni capitoli fa.

- Dopo il capitolo 1037 ci sarà un'altra pausa (stavolta si tratta di una pausa del solo One Piece, non di tutto il Jump come le ultime volte).

- "Gorousei" ends up talking about an Akuma no Mi and how they have given that fruit another name to hide his true name.
- Korean leaker says he's not talking about Gomu Gomu no Mi in the Spoiler.
- Chapter ends by revealing the identity of that shadow seen by the ships in the Wanokuni Sea. The shadow is Zunesha. Zunesha is just behind World Government fleet we saw near Wanokuni a few chapters ago.
